New Delhi: After a lukewarm start to the collection figures on Friday, `Hasee Toh Phasee` is looking up during the weekend.
The romantic comedy directed by Vinil Mathew and starring Parineeti Chopra got mixed reviews from the critics, but has managed to capture the audience`s hearts ahead of Valentine`s day. Leading trade analysts pegged the collection figures at 11.2 crores at the end of the second day.
The film has high expectations partly because it has been backed by industry giants like Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap. It has managed to fair well in the metropolitans. Without any competitors and `Gunday` only releasing at the end of this week, the film might do better in the coming week.
Parineeti and Sidharth`s performance and the quirky plotline is grabbing the attention of the youth. Plus the timing of the movie seems to be perfect for the mood of the Valentine`s week. We wish the team of Hasee Toh Phasee` the best!
