Mumbai: The wait ends here. The first look of the lead actors of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream project - ‘Ram Leela’ - is out.
‘Lootera’ Ranveer Singh turns Ram for the ace filmmaker while Deepika Padukone derails ‘Chennai Express’ to reach the borders of Gujarat and transforms into a fearless Gujarati belle.
Bhansali, who has an uncanny knack of making his ladies look extraordinarily gorgeous, presents a typically desi Deepika Padukone as Leela who is seen in a traditional Gujarati ghaghra choli.
And Leela’s man, Ram, sports a rather unconventionally unique look in the first image that has been released. Bhansali knows how to make his actors look drop dead gorgeous. He makes no mistake this time around too.
Both DP and Ranveer look their best in the film as their appearances are thoroughly refreshing.
Deepika and Ranveer, who are working together for the first time in the film, are believed to have become more than “just friends”. And it will be interesting to see if their off-screen chemistry reflects onscreen.
