New Delhi: After ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has yet again come up with a passionate love story set in the colourful Gujarat. But this time, Bhansali is portraying the strong tale of love with a pinch of violence in it.
The film, which is directed and produced by Bhansali himself, is said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare`s epic love story ‘Romeo and Juliet’ framed in the times of barbarity.
Ranveer Singh is introduced as a rowdy womanizer named ‘Ram’, while his love interest played by Deepika Padukone is projected as a headstrong Gujarati girl called ‘Leela’.
This romantic drama also stars Richa Chadda, Shweta Salve, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Sharad Kelkar, Supriya Pathak, Gulshan Devaiah and Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh.
The trailer shows the sizzling chemistry between Ranveer and Deepika Padukone amidst the gun fires and fights.
The movie is all set to hit the silver screen on November 15, 2013.
