Mumbai: The year 2013 has been a stupendous one for the Hindi film fraternity. The Box Office saw a number of films raking in the moolah and has had helped industry heavyweights reclaim their spots.

Salman Khan from the Khan trinity was the only one who did not have a single release this year. However, the man made his presence felt on the small screen as he returned as the host of popular show ‘Bigg Boss 7’ for the fourth consecutive time.

The ‘Dabangg’ Khan made for his contemporaries- Aamir and Shah Rukh – after having had a rocking time at the Box Office in the last five years. With films like ‘Wanted’, ‘Dabangg’, ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Dabangg 2’, Salman had become the undisputed King of Bollywood Box Office.

2013 saw Shah Rukh emerge strong with Rohit Shetty’s ‘Chennai Express’. The film broke a number of records. But Aamir’s ‘Dhoom 3’ ended up clinching the top spot by derailing ‘Chennai Express’.

‘Dhoom 3’ with Aamir as the antagonist has done fabulous business not just in India but overseas too and is still going strong.
