Mumbai: Famed music directed Aadesh Shrivastava lost his battle with cancer at the age of 51.
Aadesh, who had been receiving treatment for cancer at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, passed away at 12:20 am, reports said.
Aadesh has composed beautiful music for movies like "Chalte Chalte", "Baabul", "Baghban", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham", "Rajneeti" (for which he also lent his own voice), and others.
Singer Shreya Ghoshal, Director Anubhav Sinha and music director Pritam were among the first ones to pay tribute to him on Twitter.
