Mumbai: Ever since Kareena Kapoor entered matrimony with Saif Ali Khan, a lot has been speculated about her equation with her husband’s first wife Amrita Singh.
Reports of animosity between the two ladies have often been published but the two have never spoken about each other. In fact, Amrita and Saif’s kids – Sara and Ibrahim - have often been spotted with Kareena. So they certainly seem to share a great rapport with her.
However, recent reports suggested that Amrita had a major problem with Bebo over Sara’s ‘revealing’ dress.
Dismissing all speculations, Amrita in an interview with a leading daily said that her name is often unnecessarily used in such news reports.
According to a report in DNA, originally attributed to the leading daily, Amrita said, "Aaj kal mere naam ke bahut bill phaade jaa rahen hain (my name is being unnecessarily used). Let me tell you, today’s kids have a mind of their own, and they know how to exercise it. Even if I wanted to tell Sara or my son Ibrahim how to lead their lives—which I don’t—they would not listen to me. Luckily, Sara chose to complete her studies before pursuing acting. She attended Columbia University and then devoted attention to Bollywood. What if she had decided to not go to college? What could I do?"
