New Delhi: Veteran actor Anil Kapoor has turned 58 today.
The actor's life is truly Bollywood style rags-to-riches story. Born in a chawl in Mumbai, to Nirmal and Surinder Kapoor. Anil started his career with a supporting role in ‘Hamare Tumhaare’ in 1979 but his lead role came in ‘Woh Saath Din’ for which he was highly appreciated.
The actor has been a cult star for many of his movies including - 'Mr India', 'Lamhe', 'Nayak', 'Ram Lakhan', 'Saheb' etc. Kapoor has made his mark in all genres, whether it be comedy, action masala films or serious films, Anil Kapoor is loved by one and all. He has also been the part of Academy Award winning 'Slumdog Millionare'.
He made his TV debut with '24' in 2013 which turned out to be a huge success.
Anil's daughter Sonam Kapoor is also an established actress in Bollywood.
