Mumbai: Anushka Sharma’s debut film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ happened ten months ago. Since then, we are still waiting for news from her professional front. However, Asin, who debuted in Bollywood around the same time with ‘Ghajini’ has a busier schedule. Both the stars debuted opposite enviable personalities – the Khans. With these common traits, one is bound to compare one with the other.
But it looks like Anushka does not exactly enjoy these comparisons. Her replies, though sprinkled with a charming sense of humour, did reveal a wee bit of discomfort.
When someone asked her how does she feel to be the baby of Bollywood, the sharp-witted starlet replied, “Asin is the baby. Her movie ‘Ghajini’ released after my ‘Rab Ne..’.”
When told that Asin has already done a dozen movies down South before she came to Mumbai, Anushka replied, “But in Bollywood, she’s still a newcomer. And since she came after me, she’s the newest babe in town.”
Okay, Anu – you are more mature. But some movies in the kitty might support your wit more fully!
