But that's not all. The rumour is that Akhtar went a step further to save the life of Ranveer Singh's hairdresser while shooting for 'Dil Dhadakne Do'.
Reports in a leading daily are that Darshan, Ranveer's hairdresser went for a swim on a beach while the crew was taking a break during the shoot for the film. He was caught in the oceans currents and dragged deeper into the sea. When an alarm was raised our hero lost no time to jump in to save the man.
A strong swimmer himself Farhan's act saved Darshan's life. The incident definitely increases our respect for the actor. He truly is the hero that we all want to look upto.
