London: `Spider Man` actor Tobey Maguire is prone to losing things and therefore asked his jewellery designer wife to make him multiple wedding rings.
The actor told his bride, Jennifer Meyer, to design identical rings for him before they because he was convinced he will lose them, reported Femalefirst online.
But Maguire has not yet lost the first ring and Meyer sees it as a sign that their marriage will last.
"He`s never worn any jewellery before and he warned me when we got married that he`d probably lose the wedding band, so I should make him a couple," said Meyer.
"But he`s still on the first one, and we`re over two and a half years married, so we`re doing good," said the designer who has two children, 3-year-old daughter Ruby and 7-month old son Otis, with the actor.
The couple had tied the knot in a private ceremony in Hawaii in 2007.
