New Delhi: The suave and svelte actress Shilpa Shetty turns 39 today.
Born on June 8, 1975, Shilpa shot to fame with her role in `Baazigaar`, which landed her a nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting actress.

The leggy-lass received much accolades for `Dhadkan`, `Rishtey` and `Phir Milenge`, But it was only after she won the British reality show `Big Brother 5`, that she garnered positive reviews for her films and turned heads wherever she went. And, since then there has been no looking back for the actress-turned-enterpreneur.
Married to industrialist Raj Kundra, soon they became part owners of the Indian Premier League franchise cricket team Rajasthan Royals by paying approximately US $15.4 million for an 11.7% stake.
Be it her IPL team, her recently acquired spa business, or her new show ` Soney Ka Dil` based on the lines of popular series `Satyamev Jayate`, the diva surely knows how to hog limelight.
