Jailed Tweed’s mum empties ‘rape flat’

London: The mother of jailed Jack Tweed was reportedly spotted clearing his former bachelor pad, where he allegedly raped a teenage clubber.

The 22-year-old’s mother, Mary, and brother Lewis were seen among a group who shifted Tweed’s possessions into a removal van as he awaited trial on a rape charge in prison.

The family were said to have cleared items including a giant plasma TV, a CD tower, ironing board and bedding from the 700,000-pound rented flat in Essex, reports the Daily Star.

The van was reportedly then driven to the family home of Tweed’s late wife Jade Goody, who lost her life to cancer aged 27 earlier this year.

Tweed is behind bars after a 19-year-old claimed he raped her as his pal joined in.

He is said to have attacked the girl at a party at his home after inviting the teenager and two of her female friends back to his rented house from a London nightspot in the early hours.

He was previously reported to have been slapped with an eviction notice after a string of complaints over wild drunken orgies at the flat.
