Keira Knightley avoids expensive living to keep friends

Los Angeles: Actress Keira Knightley shuns an expensive Hollywood lifestyle to ensure she can still relate to her less well-off friends.

The “Atonement” star regularly earns huge salaries for appearing in blockbusters such as “Pirates of the Caribbean?, but gives herself a spending cap so she is not "alienated" from people around her, reports contactmusic.com.

"I think living an expensive lifestyle means you can`t hang out with people who don`t live that lifestyle. It alienates you. Some of my best most hilarious times have been in the least luxurious places,” she told Glamour magazine.
