Love threatens to sue company for using Cobain`s image

Los Angeles: Singer Courtney Love, the widow of rock icon Kurt Cobain has threatened to sue the makers of the video game `Guitar Hero` for wrongfully using the image of her husband.

The `Hole` rocker has exploded in rage over the way the game portrays the `Smells Like Teen Spirit` rocker as an avatar that sings pop songs such as those by Bon Jovi, reported Mirror online.

While announcing the game, makers had claimed that they had the approval of Love, but she has declared that she never gave her approval to them as her "pure love " for Cobain would never allow her to sell his memory out.

"Now they`re just liquidating Kurt and I`m the devil? I have nothing to do with Guitar Hero, I loathe it and find it odious. Kurt would have too," tweeted an angry Love adding that she plans to take legal action against the company.

"This is necrophilic, this is vile, please address all calls to my lawyer Keith Fink Esquire who is furious," she tweeted.

Cobain, the frontman of the rock band `Nirvana` was among the pioneers of the grunge rock movement during the 90`s. He committed suicide at the age of 27 in 1994.
