The veteran actor began his career as a child artist in `Kaluthur Kannamma` and won the National Award for Best Child Artist in 1960. He has won won three National Awards for Best Actor. Father to gorgeous Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan, Kamal enjoys the success of his beautiful daughters in the film industry too.
