Meera swears on family’s lives while denying marriage claims

Islamabad: Pakistani actress Meera repeatedly swore on the lives of her father, mother and brother while denying being married to Attiqur Rehman, who alleges to be her husband.

The Lollywood star swore on the holy Quran while talking to a private TV channel, adding there were 3,000 proposals waiting for her in her email account.

“May they all die if I am lying. May I die if I am lying,” the Daily Times quoted her as telling the reporter.

Meera previously slammed the claims, saying that her association with Attique was restricted to business dealings.

She further accused Attiqur of blackmailing her and also alleged that Attique attacked her house with the intention of killing her, but she was not there at the time.
