New Delhi: Legendary filmmaker Mrinal Sen's family has rubbished the news doing the rounds on his demise and said that the 93-year-old is absolutely fine.
"News on Mrinal Sen's passing away is false. He is absolutely fine and having tea right now," Sen's family told ANI.
Till date, Mrinal is considered to be one of the greatest ambassadors of Indian parallel cinema at an international level.
He is known for 'Bhuvan Shome', 'Mrigaya', 'Akaler Sandhane' and 'Calcutta 71'.
