Mumbai: Love is certainly in the air for Ranbir Kapoor and his ladylove Katrina Kaif. But the two are yet to contemplate marriage.
Speculations have been rife for quite some time about a roka ceremony being planned by the Kapoors to officialise the relationship between Ranbir and Katrina.
However, the actor has denied any plans of a ‘roka’, for it’s a tradition only followed by families that arrange a marriage. In his case, there’s no question of an arrangement as he is ‘in love’ with Katrina Kaif and hence his impending wedding will be called a “love marriage”.
DNA quoted the actor as saying, “Let me clear the air. Rokas happen during arranged marriages where the two families come together and fix the match. Then the girl is not allowed to meet other prospective grooms. That’s the idea. You guys know my situation. It’s not an arranged marriage. Why would I even need a roka?”
