Chicago: Talk show host Oprah Winfrey is willing to go to Copenhagen next month to help lobby Chicago`s bid to host the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Winfrey, a city native, acknowledged there is "some talk" about her going to the Danish city to help Chicago sell its bid.
"If I feel I can be useful there, then that is what I will do," Chicago Tribune quoted Winfrey as saying in Toronto.
Chicago 2016 Chief Executive Patrick Ryan had last week said his team would "absolutely" like to have Winfrey on board.
The International Olympic Committee will decide the host city for the 2016 Games on October 2 from four finalists Chicago, Tokyo, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro.
With President Barack Obama focussing on the healthcare reform legislation, First Lady Michelle Obama is leading the delegation for her hometown to Copenhagen.
