Mumbai: Preity Zinta, who returned to India from the US Sunday morning, took to Facebook to connect with her followers and express her stance on ongoing investigation in the Ness Wadia case.

She wrote:

“Exhausted but happy to finally be back home in Mumbai. I`d like to apologize to the media but it will not be possible for me to make any comments or statements as this investigation is still on. Pls co operate & PLEASE don`t call my staff or friends non stop as they have requested me to make this appeal to you all on their behalf. Thank you (sic).”

The Bollywood actress has made it very clear that she will not utter a word on the aforementioned controversy and maintain stoic silence on the case.

Preity had lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police on June 13, against her former boyfriend and business partner Ness Wadia of harassing and abusing her during an Indian Premiere League (IPL) match at the Wakhede Stadium in South Mumbai on May 30. The actress flew to the US soon after and returned Sunday morning. She is likely to record her statement today.

Police had called her to return as her statement needs to be recorded on the FIR against Wadia filed June 13 at the Marine Drive police station.
