Mumbai: Nothing can stop Russell Peters. Even if that means throwing jibes at Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai at her home turf. Trashing Bollywood earlier while promoting Indo-Canadian film ‘Speedy Singhs’, the film which he is part of, Russell slopped his clowning act yet again when he remarked about Ash’s acting style.
The Indo-Canadian funnyman, who has previously taken digs at Ash, said that the actress hasn’t got it right and still doesn’t know how to act.
Remind him about his earlier jokes on Ash, and he says, “She hasn’t become a better actor. She is still good looking, isn’t that good enough?” When the topic shifts to her pregnancy, he jokes, “Oh good job Abhishek, you finally knocked her up!”
Last seen in Jake Gyllenhaal starrer ‘Source Code’, Peters plays a loveable jerk in Akshay Kumar’s Indo-Canadian venture ‘Speedy Singhs’.
Well, it would be interesting to watch how much of ‘acting’ Russell’ got as ‘Speedy Singhs’ releases this Friday.
