New Delhi: The news of Karisma Kapoor separating from her estranged husband Sunjay Kapoor hogged the limelight lately. According to reports, the Delhi-based businessman has filed for the custody of their two children-- Samaira (9) and Kiaan Raj Kapoor(4) in Bandra court. Reports also suggest that Lolo might actually head towards divorce as the differences between them can not be reconciled now.
It was learnt that the closeness between Sunjay and socialite Priya Sachdev took a toll on Lolo`s endurance, leading to a divorce-like situation.
Coming to sister-in-law`s rescue was none other than actor Saif Ali Khan, who saved her from going through other formalities and stress of the court sessions urging both of them to sign the papers on mutual consent. His intervention pacified the two, averting heated arguments. Saif and his wife Kareena proved to be a source of comfort in the darkest hour for Lolo.
The couple tied the knot on 2003 but had been living separately since 7 years now.
Soon after filing for divorce, now the latest buzz is that Karisma is set to remarry. Lolo has again fallen for a divorcee, Sandeep Toshniwal, who is the CEO of a pharmaceutical company. If the grapevine is to be believed, then wedding bells may soon be on cards for the two as they have started growing quite close to each other.
However, Karisma has so far maintained a stoic silence about her relationship.
