Salman Khan donates Rs 50 lakh for Jammu and Kashmir flood victims

When relief efforts and funds are pouring in from all quarters, for people in the flood-affected areas of Jammu and Kashmir, how can Bollywood superstar Salman Khan stay behind. If reports are anything to go by, then the actor has donated Rs 50 Lakh to the J&K relief fund.

New Delhi: When relief efforts and funds are pouring in from all quarters, for people in the flood-affected areas of Jammu and Kashmir, how can Bollywood superstar Salman Khan stay behind. If reports are anything to go by, then the actor has donated Rs 50 Lakh to the J&K relief fund.

This is not the first time that Salman has come forward to fulfill his responsibility towards the society. The actor, who owns an NGO by the name 'Being Human' has come out to support different causes at several occasions.

Earlier, a host of other celebrities including Hrithik Roshan, Kunal Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, and Shraddha Kapoor have also extended a helping hand to the victims in their own way.

Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, who is currently lodged in the Yerwada Jail has also initiated a campaign to raise funds from the prisoners for the cause.
