Mumbai: Salman Khan has made headlines both for good and wrong reasons. The Bollywood heavyweight’s appointment as the goodwill ambassador of the Indian team for Rio Olympics 2016 stirred enough controversy. The decision drew flak from a number of people who thought the actor doesn’t befit the role.

Khan’s former ladylove Katrina Kaif, however has an interesting remark to make.

According to a report in MissMalini.com, on being asked by the media about the hullabaloo surrounding Salman’s appointment, Kaif reportedly said, “What is new with Salman Khan being entangled in a controversy?”.

Well, oh, well! The answer was uncompromisingly forthright.
