Los Angeles: Singer-songwriter Vanessa White has opened up about her battle with alcohol which threatened her career in 2010.
The Saturdays singer says that her troubled past made her ``depressed`` because she wasn`t sure who she was, reports contactmusic.com.
Speaking in this week`s issue of The Sun on Sunday newspaper`s Fabulous magazine, she admitted: ``I drank vodka mainly but, to be honest, I drank anything.”
`It massively affected the band and I felt lonely and depressed. I didn`t know who I was underneath everything I was supposed to be. I`d arrive for work every morning hungover, then my voice started to go. I`d have to ask Una (Foden) to cover my solos,” she added.
