New Delhi: The alleged former couple - Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor might no longer be together but that doesn't stop the two actors from being professional in their life.
While Dippy is currently basking in the success of her last release `Piku`, the same cannot be said about Ranbir whose much awaited solo release `Bombay Velvet` after two years proved to be a dud at the BO.
According to reports, the 28 year-old actor recently threw a success bash and interestingly the kind hearted beauty also invited her ex-flame Ranbir and his current rumoured girlfriend Katrina Kaif. However, the two did not turn up even though 'Bombay Velvet' makers – Anurag Kashyap, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl were very much a part of the party.
Soon after, comparisons between the two started doing the rounds.
In an interview with a daily, the leggy lass said that she understood that why Ranbir and Kat did not turn up for the party. She was quoted saying that it is a passing phase in someone's career and she very well understands it. Clearing all negativity in the air, she also mentioned that she would never do anything to hurt Ranbir.
Deepika, however feels that all the hogwash surrounding `BV` is unfair. And though she is yet to see the film, the dimpled beauty has said that she can empathize with their pain.

Ranbir-Deepika who scorched the screen in `Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani` are ready to be seen together in `Tamasha` once again.
