Mumbai: Friday saw Designer Anavila Misra's spring/summer collection, 'A Summer Stroll' at the Lakme Fashion Week.
The collection is inspired by the nostalgia of taking a stroll in the rustling trees and wafting breeze in times of relentless drilling machines & swirling smog.
The collection fuses merges geometric designs with botanical motifs, irregular shapes and marks to juxtapose the urban and natural environs. The colour palette of the collection integrates elements like greenery, cement, stone, wood, and earth.
Actress and producer Dia Mirza was the showstopper for Misra.
Other B-Town celebs like Sonali Bendre, Kiran Rao, Maria Goretti, Mini Mathur, Priyanka Bose, Tillotama Shome, Rasika Duggal, Maya Sarao, Madhurima Tuli and Kausar Munir were also present at the show.
