Mumbai: Here’s some good news for all the fans of Kapil Sharma. ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ is not going off air.
Preeti Simoes, the creative director of the superhit show, while talking to DNA said that Kapil’s tweet about the show going off air was “misinterpreted”.
Kapil’s tweet dated June 15 had caused a stir in social media. A number of his fans were left thoroughly disappointed with the news.
Comedy nights is going off air from september.. V will come back with new characters n new set.. Till den.. Keep smiling :)

However, the very next day, Kapil took to Twitter to clarify that the show will be back after a “mini break”.
Been thinking of Comedy nights new set,characters & a mini break .. will consult with the channel n decide soon Don't worry be happy:)

And now, according to DNA’s report, the show is not going off air. Simoes said that the team is creating a bank of episodes so as to avoid uninterrupted airing. In the meanwhile, the crew will take a break and get back with a brand new edition of the show.
Now, we are sure Kapil’s fans will have a broad smile on their faces.
