Los Angeles: 'Fashion Police' will continue its run on TV despite Joan Rivers death this month. Rivers was the main attraction of the show with her sharp criticism of fashion hits and misses made by A-listers and there were doubts about the future of the show.

The makers have now revealed that it will return in time to cover the Golden Globe awards in January.

The decision to continue the franchise, that includes co-hosts Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos, was taken after talking to Rivers' daughter and Fashion Police executive producer Melissa Rivers.

"We decided, with Melissa Rivers' blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue. Fashion Police will return in 2015, commencing with Golden Globes coverage on Monday, January 12. No further details will be announced at this time," E! said in a statement.

Joan Rivers died at age 81 on September 4 in New York following a throat procedure.
