Los Angeles: "The Good Wife" star Jill Hennessy has joined the upcoming second season of political drama "Madam Secretary".
Hennesy, 46, has joined the season in a recurring role, reported Entertainmnet Weekly.
Her character, Jane Fellows, will be Henry's (Tim Daly) new Defense Intelligence Agency handler, who is a commanding yet descreet political operator known for keeping cool in a crisis?though she does not always see eye-to-eye with Henry.
The season two will premiere on October 4.
