Mumbai: Television actress Pratyusha Banerjee's last rites were performed on Saturday evening at the Oshiwara crematorium ground in Mumbai. The telly actress was cremated in full bridal attire.
Pratyusha had become a household name soon after she made her successful TV debut as Anandi in popular daily soap ‘Balika Vadhu’. News of her suicide has rocked the TV industry and has left her friends and colleagues shocked.
The 24-year-old, who was reportedly found hanging on Friday, was dressed as a bride for her last rites.

Pratyusha had even reportedly placed an order for her bridal lehenga with designer Rohit Verma. She had plans of getting married to her beau Rahul Raj Singh, who is now under the Police scanner.
Reports suggested that Rahul had cheated on Pratyusha by getting engaged to someone else.
