Amitabh Bachchan starrer `Piku` a smash hit, rakes in Rs 60 crore!

New Delhi: In a year of big movie releases, very few films have been able to hold the ground at Box Office, Amitabh Bachchan's`Piku` however, came as a whiff of fresh air.

`Piku` struck a chord with the audiences because if its endearing performances and has been declared a smash hit at BO.

According to a senior trade analyst, the second week collections of `Piku` have crossed over Rs 60.82 crores.

While the industry went gaga over this family film, the movie is still doing well even at international markets.

Bollywood damsel Deepika Padukone plays daughter to the legendary Big B. `Piku` also stars intense actors Irrfan Khan and Moushumi Chatterjee.

The film was released on May 8, 2015.
