New Delhi: The much-awaited trailer of the upcoming Varun Dhawan and John Abraham-starrer 'Dishoom,' which was released yesterday, has received a thumbs up from the members of film fraternity.
Showering praise on the trailer, filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted, "Wow!!! Full on paisa vasool trailer of #Dhishoom ....the boys are rocking!! @Varun_dvn @TheJohnAbraham and @Asli_Jacqueline looking so hot!!"
Ayushmann Khurarrana praised the trailer, tweeting, "This is awesome stuff! @Varun_dvn @TheJohnAbraham @Saqibsaleem and Akshaye Khanna. Kya casting hai, kya energy hai!"

Other celebrities who lauded the trailer included Anil Kapoor, actress Huma Qureshi and 'ABCD 2' star Lauren Gottlieb.
The trailer, which was screened across 550 screens of PVR, showed the 'Force' actor portraying the role of a special task force agent, Kabir Shergill, while actor Akshaye Khanna, who remained absent from the silver screen for almost four years, was seen essaying the role a grey character named Wagah.
Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the movie, which is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam film 'Mumbai Police,' also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri in the lead roles.
The movie is slated to hit the theatres on July 29.
