The year 2015 began on a sombre note for Bollywood until ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ and ‘ABCD 2’ hit the silverscreen. With ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, the Bollywood Box Office not only got a much needed impetus but also created new records.
Let’s see which are the films that we can look forward to:
Jazbaa
This Sanjay Gupta will mark the comeback of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film boats of a bevy of starcast which includes Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi and Jackie Shroff. ‘Jazbaa’ released on 9 October.
Shaandaar

Touted as India’s first destination wedding film, ‘Shaandaar’ also stars Shahid’s real life father Pankaj Kapoor and will release on 22 October.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
The director-actor jodi of Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan will be back with ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ on 12 November. This will be Salman’s fourth project with Sooraj after ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’, ‘Hum Apke Hain Koun!’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. Th Rajshri Productions’ film also stars Sonam Kapoor, Armaan Kohli and Neil Nithin Mukesh.
Tamasha
Once real life couple- Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone – will be back with ‘Tamasha’ on 27 November. The duo was first seen together in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and then went on to do ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, which turned out to be a blockbuster. It will be interesting to see their crackling chemistry onscreen once again.
Bajirao Mastani
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus- Bajirao Mastani- which features Ranveer Singh as Baji Rao, the Peshwa of the Maratha empire, Deepika Padukone as Mastani, Baji Rao’s second wife and Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai, Baji Rao’s first wife. SLB’s films have always been larger than life and hence the huge anticipation. The film will release on 18 December.
Dilwale
The Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol jodi will be back after a span of 7 years with ‘Dilwale’. This iconic onscreen couple has delivered a number of blockbusters - ‘Baazigar’, ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’, ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ and ‘My Name Is Khan’ – and hence it would be interesting to see what the duo has in store for us now.
