Mumbai: Former Australian pace bowler Brett Lee is all set to make his acting debut with a film titled ‘Unindian’. The flick directed by Anupam Chopra had reportedly landed in trouble with the Central Board of Film Certification over a love making scene. But here’s the truth about the intimate scene in question.

According to a report in Bollywoodlife.com originally attributed to DNA, the scene was never asked to be removed from the film. Censor chief Pahlaj Nihalani only asked the makers of trim it down.

“The sequence showed the lead pair making love intercut with shots of a guru chanting mantras. But we never asked them to delete it, just to trim it. Instead, Anupam did away with it. That sequence now just has a suggestion of lovemaking and not the act itself. Even the hero’s nude shot has been removed,” DNA quoted Nihalani as saying.

‘Unindian’ is believed to be a romantic comedy shot in Sydney. The film also stars Tannishtha Chatterjee (essaying the female lead) besides Supriya Pathak and Gulshan Grover in pivotal roles.

The film is slated to release on August 19.
