New Delhi: Zoya Akhtar's cruise has indeed taken off, the first weekend has been fantastic for the filmmaker as the film has crossed Rs 22 cr in collections in the weekend.
As per a leading trade analyst the movie has made Rs 22 crore with 10 crores on Friday and 12 on Saturday.
The film is only expected to pick up with good word of mouth. The multi star cast has received mostly positive reviews from critics and the dramedy is appealing to people especially in the tier 1 cities and multiplexes.

Kanga Ranaut, Madhavan starring 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' also made a similar impact at the Box Office and has managed to join the Rs 100 cr club within two weeks of its release.
