Los Angeles: The first photos of the movie about US President Barack Obama and wife Michelle's first date, "Southside With You", have surfaced online.
Actor Parker Sawyers is playing Obama, then a young associate, with Tika Sumpter, who plays his future wife, lawyer Michelle Robinson, in the romantic drama, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The film, written and directed by Richard Tanne, is inspired by the President and first lady's first date to see Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing" in 1989.
Earlier, the first couple had recorded a video message to mark the 25th anniversary of "Do the Right Thing" last year.
The President in the video had thanked Lee for "helping (him) impress Michelle."
