Five reasons to watch ‘Sultan’ Salman Khan

Mumbai: The trailer of Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Sultan’ directed by Ali Abbas Zafar was unveiled amid much fanfare on Tuesday. Slated to release this Eid – Sultan – produced by Yash Raj Films revolves around the live of wrestler, an underdog Sultan Ali Khan, his personal ambitions, relationships, professional goals and his rise.

Salman struck the purple patch in his career with his 2009 Eid release ‘Wanted’. And since then, the ‘Dabangg’ Khan has been on roll. ‘Dabangg’, ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Ready’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Kick’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and last but not the least ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.

Moviegoers look forward to Salman’s films because they can be watched with the entire family. And now that the hunk’s latest film is all set for release, let’s take a look at five reasons to watch ‘Sultan’:

Salman Khan

This has to be the first reason. In the last few years, Salman has done a variety of roles that have surprised the audiences. He has even chosen scripts that have outshined him, for instance Bajrangi Bhaijaan. But one fact that cannot be denied is that he has an aura that no one else has. Hence, ‘Sultan’ becomes a ‘Must Watch’.

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma’s chemistry

Anushka has teamed up with Salman for the first time. We all know that the pretty actress is immensely talented. And it would be interesting to see the kind of chemistry she shares with her senior. We have already seen glimpses of their on screen chemistry and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that they look awesome together.

The theme – Wrestling

The film is based on a sport that has not got much exposure on celluloid. For the Indian audiences, it will certainly be a refreshing change. And interestingly, not just Salman, Anushka too plays a wrestler in the film.

A new backdrop and Haryanvi Salman

The filmmaker has tried to keep the essence of Haryana intact. We can see Salman and Anushka speaking Hindi with a heavy Haryanvi accent. And this reminds us of Datto aka Kusum Kumar ( Kangana Ranaut in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’). Moreover, we will get to see the interior belt of Haryana in the film as the narrative takes us through Sultan’s journey.

Eid Release

The film releases this Eid. And like Salman’s previous Eid releases, we can expect to get entertained to the core. Moreover, it’s festive time. The film will be a perfect Eidi for Salman’s ardent fans.
