New Delhi: Even before ‘Step Up All In’, the latest movie in the hit dance movie series 'Step Up' releases in India, rumours have started floating that superstar Hrithik Roshan is being approached to be the lead in the next installment of the franchise.
Hrithik, who is considered one of the finest dancers in Bollywood is already quite popular in the west. A while ago, 'Twilight' diva Kristen Stewart claimed that she is in love with our own resident Greek god and she even wants to have his kids. Now we also hear that Briana Evigan, the lead lady of the current installation of 'Step Up' is also quite a fan of the actor. That’s not all Twitter fans of the movie franchise loved the idea of having the 'Krrish' star in the sixth installment.
Strategically too, this is a wise move as the franchise has always been a huge money spinner in the international markets, along with the US. The franchise has also always used debut talent to create stars rather than using well known faces. Signing Hrithik would be a double whammy of dance and acting talent with a good dose of desi tadka added to the mix.
Well, all we can say is that we have our fingers crossed and hope we see Hrithik sizzle and showcase his moves in Hollywood soon…
Let’s hope that Hrithik too is willing to "Step Up' to the challenge.
