New Delhi: With two big releases last weekend--`Daawate-e-Ishq` and `Khoobsurat`- they should have left the counters ringing at the BO. But it seems just having a big star cast is not enough.
Both the movie, which released on September 19, have managed to do average business, going by the box-office collections.
According to reports, the BO weekend collection of Khoobsurat stands as: Fri - 2.75 cr, Sat - 4.00 cr, Sun - 5.25 cr, total 12.00.cr.
And, `Daawat-e-Ishq` is leading just by margins. The collection stands as: Fri - 3.75 cr, Sat - 4.50 cr, Sun - 5.50 cr, total 13.75.
`Daawat-e-Ishq` stars Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead besides Anupam Kher. Whereas, `Khoobsurat` marks the Bollywood entry of Pakistani TV star fawad Khan romancing Sonam Kapoor.
With the box-office battle still on, let's see if they manage to rake in the moolah in the coming days or will the collections witness a drop in the future.
