Luke Evans exits 'The Crow' reboot

Los Angeles: Actor Luke Evans is no longer a part of "The Crow" remake.

The "Dracula Untold" star's publicist said Evans has decided to go separate ways to pursue other projects, reported Ace Showbiz.

Based on James O'Barr's 1989 comic book of the same name, the long-gestating film chronicles around Eric Draven, a murdered rock star who is brought to life by supernatural bird crow to avenge his murder and that of his fiancee.

The original movie was released in 1994 with Brandon Lee as the lead star.

Tom Hiddleston previously was linked to the character Eric in the reboot before Evans landed the role.

Directed by Corin Hardy, the movie so far has no release date.
