New Delhi: Two of the most revered Bollywood artists-- Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Nandita Das are reportedly teaming up for a flick on Sadat Hasan Manto.
A Pakistani writer, Sadat Hasan Manto is known worldwide for his popular writings, will be portrayed on the silver screens.
According to a report in ANI, Nandita was qouted as saying, 'It's not a cradle-to-grave biopic but a drama celebrating the life and work of a writer who was a natural rebel, a man who went against the tide without being a conscious activist.'
She further added, 'The film will cover a period of seven years between 1946 and 1952, which was an important phase in the history of the subcontinent'.
