Mumbai: Aamir Khan and Salman Khan as Amar and Prem respectively in Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ had wowed us with their innocent charm, impeccable comic timing and childlike humour. Since the last few years, there have been reports suggesting that a sequel to the cult 1990 comedy is on the anvil.
Yes, a sequel to the hilarious film is certainly in the pipeline but the bad news is that it won’t feature he original cast.
According to a report in Bollywoodlife.com originally attributed to a tabloid, the new film will be directed either by Vikas Bahl or Vikramaditya Motwane but the cast of the film hasn’t been decided yet.
The original film featured Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor besides veteran comedians Jagdeep, Mehmood and Deven Verma.
