Mumbai: The sets of Varun Dhawan-Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘ABCD 2’ in Filmcity Goregaon, caught fire following a short circuit on Thursday evening.
The incident happened with the cast was rehearsing their dance steps. There were as many as 600 people on the sets, who were safely rescued from the spot.
Both Varun and Shraddha took to Twitter to confirm the news.
Shraddha’s tweet read:
Yes sadly there was a fire on set today but everything is fine & everyone is safe! Back to shoot tomorrow. We WONT stop dancing!!! ❤️ #ABCD2

Varun tweeted:

Directed by Remo D’Souza, ‘ABCD 2’ is a sequel to his directorial debut ‘ABCD’, a dance based film, which went on to become a much appreciated film by dance lovers. Slated to release on June 19th, ‘ABCD 2’ also stars dancing king Prabhudheva.
