Mumbai: Ajay Devgn starrer Shivaay and Karan Johar’s directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil released on Friday, October 28. It’s been a week since the two films hit the silvescreen and the producers must be happy with the response at the Box Office.
Despite the clash, both Shivaay and #ADHM have succeeded in making decent money so far. Johar’s #ADHM starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan is ahead of Shivaay just by a margin of Rs 10 crores.
KJo’s romantic saga has managed to mint about Rs 80 Crores while Devgn’s action-thriller has garnered close to Rs 71 Crores.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has given a breakup of the performances of the two films at the Box Office through his tweets.

The release of Shivaay and #ADHM on the same day has been the biggest clash of the year. Earlier in August, Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro and Akshay Kumar’s Rustom had clashed at the Bollywood Box Office. The period film proved to be a dud whereas Akki’s murder mystery did better business.
