New Delhi: Sonam Kapoor has had a terrific year so far, with 'Neerja' breaking the box office window, her 'Coldplay' video and the super successful Cannes appearance. Sonam is the girl of the moment—and thankfully for all the right reasons.
Recently, it was reported that Sonam might star in a film opposite Shah Rukh Khan, and that it shall be helmed by Aanand L Rai. According to Pinkvilla.com, Sonam has finally cleared the air around this project.
The actress was quoted as saying, “I would love to work with him and Shah Rukh. Apparently, everyone is talking about this film, but Aanand sir has never spoken to me about it. I’m sure he always considers me [for his films], as he and I share a close relationship. He treats me like his own daughter. I love working with him, and want to be part of every film he makes. If it is a good role, and if he feels I fit the part, I am sure he will offer it to me because he cares about me. I am never going to say no to him”.
