Los Angeles: Filmmaker Steven Spielberg has teased that he "can't wait to work" with Harrison Ford in upcoming "Indiana Jones V".

Spielberg expressed his desire to collaborate with Ford while honouring the actor during a tribute to him at the British Academy Britannia Awards, reported Ace Showbiz.

"I can't wait to work with you again on 'Indiana Jones 5'. This is NO announcement, just my fervent hope," Spielberg said.

Amid rumours that Chris Pratt would replace the veteran actor as Indiana, Frank Marshall, who worked with Chris in "Jurassic World" and produced all four "Indiana Jones" movies, was asked if the actor could take over after Ford.

"There are a lot of rumours. We haven't even sat down to talk about Indy yet... At some point we'll sit down. But there's a bunch of people who could probably take the baton."

Frank, however, admitted that they would "not (be) doing the Bond thing where we're going to call somebody else Indiana Jones... We have to figure this out."
