New Delhi: In a year full of biopics and sports drama, here's a fresh breeze of political drama in Bollywood. Jimmy Shergill, Ashutosh Rana starrer 'Shorgul' is based on religion and political drama in the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh
The trailer of the flick reels on themes such as humanity, politics, social, political and economic issues. It also stars Sanjay Suri, Narendra Jha, Hiten Tejwani, Eijaz Khan, Suha Gezen, Anirudh Dave and Deepraj Rana.
The highlight of the film is it touches upon many recent political issues which emerged in places like Muzaffarnagar, Godhra, Babri Masjid riots.

The film is helmed by Jitendra Tiwari and P. Singh and is expected to hit theatres on June 24.
