Los Angeles: Rappers Drake and Future have collaborated over a mixtape titled "What a Time to Be Alive".

The news of the duo creating music was doing the rounds ever since the two shared Instagram photos of working together in the studio, reported Aceshowbiz.

Drake, 28, whose original name is Aubrey Drake Graham, confirmed the album by posting the artwork on Instagram and the mash-up of his OVO Sound logo and Future's Freebandz emblem.

The album features musicians like Lil Wayne, Fetty Wap, Rick Ross and ASAP Rocky.

Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, 31, famous by his stage name, Future, also posted a clip of him and Drake working in the studio.

He previously joined hands with the Canadian rapper on his hit single "Where Ya At?".
