Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar win big at MTV Video Music Awards

 Pop star Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar emerged the biggest winners at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards by bagging four trophies each, including their collaboration "Bad Blood".

Los Angeles: Pop star Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar emerged the biggest winners at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards by bagging four trophies each, including their collaboration "Bad Blood".

The star-studded "Bad Blood" music video won the video of the year award and was also announced the best collaboration.

The other two trophies for Swift, 25, came in the form of best female video and pop video for her superhit track "Blank Space".

While Lamar, 28, won in the best cinematography category for "Never Catch Me" with Flying Lotus and best direction for "Alright".

Nicki Minaj won the best hip-hop video award for "Anaconda". Best male video honour went to Mark Ronson and singer Bruno Mars for "Uptown Funk".

Fall Out Boy bagged the best rock video for his song "Uma Thurman". The video with a social message trophy went to Big Sean featuring Kanye West and John Legend for "One Man Can Change the World".

West also received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, reported Us magazine.

For his number "So Many Pros", Snoop Dogg won the best art direction award. R&B queen, who was nominated in five categories, took home just one award-- best editing for her track "7/11".

Pop punk band 5 Seconds of Summer's "She's Kinda Hot" was announced the Song of the Summer. Fetty Wap was announced as the artist to watch.

"Where Are U Now", by Skrillex and Diplo featuring Justin Bieber, won the best visual effects award.
